Litar Abadi Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. successfully delivered the full Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) services for a 60.5 kWp (Nominal) Grid-Connected Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System under the NEM NOVA programme at Menara Takaful Malaysia, No. 4, Jalan Sultan Sulaiman, 50000 Kuala Lumpur.
About The Project
The project involved a comprehensive end-to-end Solar PV solution, covering site assessment, engineering design and system configuration, procurement and supply of Solar PV equipment, installation, electrical integration, testing and commissioning, and associated ancillary works required for the complete operation of the grid-connected PV system.
The installation works included the deployment of the PV module mounting structure using a ballasted system, installation and configuration of PV modules, DC cabling and cable management, DC and AC combiner boxes, inverter installation, AC interconnection and associated electrical works. The PV array was configured into six (6) strings, comprising four strings of 17 PV modules and two strings of 16 PV modules.
As part of the testing and commissioning process, comprehensive electrical verification was performed on all PV strings, including Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) and Short Circuit Current (Isc) testing, to verify system integrity, installation quality and operational readiness prior to final commissioning.
The completed system provides Takaful Malaysia with a reliable on-site renewable energy generation solution, supporting the organisation’s efforts to reduce grid electricity consumption, optimise long-term energy costs and lower its carbon footprint, while contributing towards its broader sustainability and ESG objectives.
Through this project, Litar Abadi Engineering demonstrated its capability to deliver a complete commercial Solar PV EPCC solution, encompassing engineering, procurement, construction, electrical integration, quality control, testing and commissioning for a grid- connected Solar PV installation.
